Recommend Games Thread
This is to recommend games to people to play it can be in there owned list or not but try to provide a reason for said person to try whatever you suggest that way this isn't just a mindless thread list.
Guess I'll start while I wait for some good recommendations.
I'd say people should play the BlazBlue series for a fast 2D fighting game experience that actually has a pretty good story, really well done characters and unlike most other fighting games(looking at you Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat) it has a really detailed tutorial to help you improve and know the basics so you can at least challenge the higher difficulties and modes. The games are both good for beginners due to their accessibility and good for those wanting a challenge with modes like Score Attack, Unlimited Mars, Highlander, Abyss and the most feared thing in fighting games the trials.
BlazBlue: Continuum Shift has some of the hardest trials in a fighting game but unlike Persona 4 Arena, UMvC3, SSFIV or KoFXIII you only need to clear 100 total and not all although CHRONOPHANTASMA raises the limit and difficulty.
If you want something similar but easier than BlazBlue I'd have to suggest AQUAPAZZA but for that to be enjoyed to it's fullest you'd need to know the Aqua Plus franchises being represented since it is a fighting game aimed at fans of Aqua Plus series such as tears to Tiara, Utawarerumono and 2 Heart another game would have to be Phantom Breaker but unlike BlazBlue's flawless online Phantom Breaker is very laggy almost to the point where you'd think the online was using stop motion animation...

Re: Recommend Games Thread
...
Look on the US/PAL(?) PSN or in a US Gamestop.
Also fairly sure I can recommend import titles as if someone wants them they can be imported or downloaded off of that regions PSN most of the time.
